Pete Lim
Peter Parkes heads up product for Miro's Product Development Workflows group, building experiences to serve engineering, product, and design teams and to supercharge the way they run agile practices. He's passionate about the role that tools and technology play in making work more satisfying and more fun. Prior to joining Miro, Peter founded software startup Qualdesk, worked as a management consultant on agile transformation programs for clients including Carlsberg, Nike, and Universal Music, and held product and marketing roles at Skype and Expedia.

Using online workspaces for more productive meetings with your teams
In this presentation, I will share a formula for how to turn any meeting (e.g., project kickoffs, retros, ideation sessions, decision making sessions, strategy sessions, QA bug bashes, etc.) into a co-creation opportunity. Instead of verbose meetings with one person speaking 80% of the time, we will learn to use visual collaboration tools to make the most of synchronous time together. We will learn how to facilitate impactful meetings that surface unspoken issues, make space for intense back and forth discussions, and result in clear decisions.
