"'Resilient Living: A Holistic Approach to Stress Management and Inner Strength' is a comprehensive workshop designed to empower participants with practical tools for developing resilience in the face of life's challenges. This session focuses on four key areas: breathing techniques to regulate stress responses, sleep optimization to enhance recovery and cognitive performance, mindfulness practices to improve present-moment awareness, and virtue-based approaches to reinforce values-driven living. By integrating these elements, participants will learn strategies to manage stress more effectively, strengthen emotional regulation, and build a resilient mindset. Through evidence-based practices and experiential learning, this workshop aims to provide a transformative path towards greater well-being, enabling individuals to respond to adversity with grace, purpose, and self-compassion."

 

Learning Outcomes:

  • Master Breathing Techniques: Understand and practice specific breathing exercises, such as diaphragmatic breathing, physiologic sighs, and more, to effectively manage stress and promote relaxation.

  • Optimize Sleep for Recovery: Gain actionable insights into sleep hygiene and routines that enhance sleep quality, leading to improved recovery, focus, and overall health.

  • Enhance Mindfulness Skills: Develop greater present-moment awareness through mindfulness practices, enabling participants to reduce anxiety, improve focus, and cultivate a calm and grounded mindset.

  • Apply Virtue-Based Resilience Strategies: Learn to integrate virtue-based approaches into daily life to reinforce values-driven decision-making, enhancing personal resilience and adaptability in challenging situations.

Biography

As a practicing Physician Assistant with 24 years of experience in pain medicine and chronic disease management, I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of my patients through comprehensive and compassionate care. Throughout my journey, I have been privileged to serve as the lead physician assistant at every practice I have been part of and have shared my expertise as a speaker for various pharmaceutical companies.

Now, I am excited to transition into the health and wellness space, where I can leverage my extensive medical background to help two specific demographics: high performers in industry and young athletes transitioning from high school to collegiate sports. 

Our new venture, Quantum Human Performance, is a full-service holistic health company that merges ancient wisdom with modern technologies. Our mission is to empower our clients to develop a personalized health process that ensures success in their pursuits. By focusing on breath management, sleep optimization, nutrition and hydration guidance, mindfulness training, mindset mastery, and character development, we help our clients strive, thrive, and flow.

Our team includes ex-collegiate Division 1 athletes and high performers who serve as performance coaches, providing expert guidance and support. At Quantum Human Performance, we believe in a holistic approach to health and performance, and we are committed to helping our clients achieve their highest potential.
